This approximate 2 mile hill has been taunting me ever since I heard about it last summer.  Today I had to conquer it with my bicycle.  Does it count as conquering it if I actually walked my bike about 20% of the way up?  Downhill on Skyline blvd is a beautiful ride and well worth the effort/climb.  I can’t believe I’ve lived in Portland for 7 years, and only just now traveled that road.

I also got to cross the St Johns bridge on this ride, only my second time crossing the bridge on my  bike.  I love that bridge.  Such a beautiful piece of workmanship.  And Cathedral Park below it is also pretty awesome!
